Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

LIT (Life is Travel, hereinafter "LIT"), operated by sole proprietor LIT-LIFEISTRAVEL, operates the following cancellation and refund policy to protect customer convenience and rights. This policy applies equally to both members and non-members and complies with the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and related laws of the Republic of Korea.

2. Cancellation & Refund Standards

The following refund standards apply based on the cancellation timing.

3. How to Cancel

Members

Cancel directly via the "My Reservations" menu in the app by tapping the "Cancel" button on the reservation. Refund processing begins immediately upon cancellation.

Non-members

Look up and cancel your reservation using the reservation number issued at booking and phone number verification. This can be done via the "Reservation Lookup" page on the website or through customer support.

4. Refund Processing

  • ① As a rule, refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original payment.
  • ② Refund processing may take 3 to 7 business days depending on the payment method.
  • ③ For credit card payments, refunds are reflected according to the card issuer's processing schedule.
  • ④ For simple payments (Toss Pay, KakaoPay, NaverPay, etc.), the refund policy of the respective service applies.
  • ⑤ If payment cancellation is not possible (e.g., card limit changes, card suspension, etc.), we will provide a refund method of equivalent value in consultation with the customer.

5. Refunds for Payments with Promotions/Coupons

  • ① Refunds for payments with promotions or coupons applied are based on the actual amount paid by the customer, excluding the discount amount.
  • ② Whether used coupons are reissued depends on the refund reason and coupon policy:
    • Company/partner cause: Used coupons will be reissued or compensation of equivalent value provided
    • Customer cause (simple change of mind, etc.): Used coupons are forfeited and cannot be reissued
  • ③ When paying with reward points, points are restored to their value at the time of use upon refund. However, expired points cannot be restored.

6. Cases Where Refunds Are Restricted

  • When the customer causes damage to the partner store or other users
  • When fraudulent use of the service is confirmed (false reservations, payment fraud, etc.)
  • When the terms of service are violated, including storage of prohibited items
  • Partial refund requests for shortened storage time after luggage drop-off (excluding cases caused by the Business)

7. Refunds During Storage in Progress

After luggage has been dropped off, partial refunds for shortened storage time are not provided. However, in the following cases, refunds equivalent to the unused time will be issued:

  • When service is unavailable due to company causes such as service failures
  • When storage is terminated mid-way due to partner causes such as store circumstances
  • When the store suspends operations due to natural disasters or legal reasons

8. Overdue Storage Charges

Additional storage charges apply when the scheduled pickup time is exceeded. Overdue charges are automatically charged to the registered payment method, and specific overdue rate standards can be confirmed within the service.

9. Dispute Resolution

When refund-related disputes arise, they shall be resolved through the following procedures:

  1. Consultation and negotiation through customer support
  2. Korea Consumer Agency damage relief procedure (1372 / www.kca.go.kr)
  3. Mediation by Korea Fair Trade Commission's dispute mediation body
  4. Mediation by the Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee

The company complies with refund-related provisions stipulated in the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Framework Act on Consumers, and related laws.
