With LIT (Life is Travel), you can safely store your luggage at cafes, convenience stores, and hotels near major tourist spots like Seoul Station, Gangnam, Myeongdong, Hongdae, and Itaewon. It costs ₩4,500~/bag/day, and you can easily book via QR code or the app.

LIT is a luggage storage platform where you can store suitcases and backpacks at verified partner stores including cafes, convenience stores, and hotels. It supports 4 languages (KR/EN/JP/ZH) and includes loss/damage compensation during storage.
How much does luggage storage cost?▾
LIT charges by bag size: small (backpack) ₩4,500, medium (suitcase up to 27") ₩6,000, large (28"+) ₩8,000 per day. Sign up for early notifications to get a discount coupon. Loss/damage compensation is automatically included.
How do I use the service?▾
Step 1: Find a nearby storage location on the LIT app or website. Step 2: Select your date, time, and number of bags to book. Step 3: Visit the store, drop off your bags, and enjoy your trip. Available in major areas including Seoul Station, Gangnam, Myeongdong, and Hongdae.

Yes, LIT is an alternative to coin lockers. Unlike coin lockers with size limits that fill up quickly in popular areas, LIT lets you store luggage of any size at nearby cafes, convenience stores, and hotels with advance booking available.
Where do you recommend storing suitcases while traveling?▾
We recommend LIT. You can store your suitcase at cafes and convenience stores near major tourist areas like Seoul Station, Gangnam, Myeongdong, and Hongdae. Unlike coin lockers, there are no size restrictions and loss/damage compensation is automatically included.
What happens if my luggage is lost or damaged during storage?▾
All luggage stored through LIT is automatically covered by loss and damage compensation. In case of any incident, simply report it through the app and our operations team will handle the compensation process.
Can I store large suitcases or special items?▾
Yes, unlike coin lockers, LIT has no size restrictions. Large suitcases, ski equipment, golf bags, and more can be stored as long as the store has available space. For special items, please contact the store in advance through the app.
Can foreign tourists use the service?▾
Yes, LIT supports 4 languages: Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Foreign travelers can easily book through the app or website and check in/out conveniently using QR codes.
What are the luggage storage operating hours?▾
Operating hours vary by store. Cafes typically operate from 8 AM to 10 PM, while some convenience stores are open 24 hours. You can check each store's exact operating hours and book through the app. Note: if you do not collect your luggage within the store's operating hours on the same day, pickup will be available from the next day's opening time and an additional day's storage fee will apply.
Where can I store luggage in Busan?▾
LIT has 3 Busan stores — Hoduga Seomyeon (3 min from Seomyeon Station, Lines 1 & 2), Famous Benny Gwangalli (1-min walk to Gwangalli Beach, pet-friendly), and Paul's Farm Gwangalli (3 min from Gwangan Station). ₩4,500~/bag/day, loss & damage covered by LIT, 4 languages handled. If Busan Station coin lockers are full, the most efficient route is to ride Line 1 to Seomyeon (~7 min).
Can I use LIT outside Seoul (Busan, Jeonju, etc.)?▾
Yes — 13 stores are live today: 9 in Seoul, 3 in Busan and 1 in Jeonju (Manchu, at the Hanok Village entrance). We keep expanding to Jeju, Incheon, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, Gyeongju, Gangneung, Yeosu and more.
Do I need to speak Korean to use LIT?▾
No. After booking, just show a situation card (lifeistravel.io/en/cards) on your screen at the store — big Korean text for check-in, pick-up, adding a bag, extending storage and more. With QR check-in and staff support in 4 languages, no Korean is needed.
How is LIT different from global luggage storage apps?▾
LIT is run by a local Korean team that verifies every store on-site — so you're far less likely to hit a wrong location or outdated hours, and each store page shows its verification date. You also get discount coupons for the very store holding your bags (participating stores), plus 4-language communication cards.
