Stone-paved alleys, and a hanbok needs both hands
Most Jeonju trips begin at Hanok Village. The problem is that its alleys are largely stone-paved, which catches suitcase wheels and makes a lot of noise.
Rent a hanbok and you'll be holding the skirt, leaving even fewer hands free. On top of that, downtown Jeonju's highlights are packed into walking distance of each other — the exact advantage that luggage cancels out.
The simplest fix is to drop your bags at the village entrance as soon as you arrive.

LIT's first Jeonju store, Manchu, is at 138 Paldal-ro, Wansan-gu, Jeonju. It's a cafe known for its handmade chestnut-cream Mont Blanc, and it sits right at the Hanok Village entrance, which makes it a natural place to store bags and start sightseeing immediately.

Prices and how to book

Tourist-office lockers vs Manchu: which fits you
Hanok Village does have free and near-free lockers. The Jeonju Tourist Information Center and the Hanok Village Tourist Information Center have ₩500 refundable-deposit lockers, and the Gyeonggijeon Travelers' Lounge has free ones.
If your bag is small and you're moving within the information centers' hours (roughly 09:00–18:00), those are perfectly fine. But they're all first-come, first-served, they fill up early on weekends and in peak season, and large suitcases may not fit the locker dimensions.
If you want a guaranteed spot by reservation, have a large suitcase, need a late-evening pickup, or want loss and damage coverage, Manchu is the safe choice.
Getting there from Jeonju Station or the bus terminal — and the opening time
From Jeonju Station, walk out to the Cheotmajung-gil bus stop in front of the station and take city bus 119 to the Jeondong Cathedral–Hanok Village stop (₩1,650 with a transit card). With a suitcase, a taxi is easier; the base fare for a mid-size Jeonju taxi is ₩4,300.
From the express bus terminal, the simplest route is likewise to head toward Hanok Village and store at Manchu on arrival. One thing to plan around: Manchu opens at 12:00 on weekdays and 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
If you're arriving early in the morning, use a tourist-office locker until then, or cover the nearby sights first and store your bags around midday.
